Bio for Mary Ellen Barker – Solar Land Agent LLC Mary Ellen Barker is Co-Founder and CEO of Solar Land Agent, LLC, a woman-owned renewable energy consulting firm specializing in utility-scale solar, battery storage, and energy infrastructure siting. Raised on a Georgia family farm, she combines expertise in agriculture, finance, real estate, and economic development to help developers and landowners create successful renewable energy projects. Mary Ellen serves on the Board of Directors of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and is an active member of SEIA, WRISE, WEN, and Eco-Women, advocating for responsible renewable energy development, land stewardship, and meaningful community engagement. She believes the future of clean energy begins with trusted relationships, strong communities, and the land where it all starts.
