Professional Engineer
Kimley-Horn
I'm a civil engineer and project manager at Kimley-Horn, and I specialize in understanding all the ways flooding impacts renewable energy projects (hydrology and hydraulics, floodplain mapping and permitting, and stormwater permitting and design). I'm also an active member of WRISE and the Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers (CASFM)... ask me about our book club! As of September 2026, I will have spoken 5 times at conferences in 3 years - on topics including seeking equity in floodplain management, HEC-RAS focused workshops and technical talks, a discussion on stormwater policy in the utility-scale solar space in Colorado, and a TED-talk style overview on how we can give and receive feedback kindly and effectively. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing the flute in Denver's LGBTQ+ community band, reading, sewing, and exploring my neighborhood.
